From the airport Khrabrovo in Kaliningrad to Svetlogorsk is 44 km. From St.-Petersburg it is possible to reach Svetlogorsk by ferry or by train to the railway station "Yuzny". From Kaliningrad to Svetlogorsk you can go by buses, electric trains and taxi.

Located in a Baltic sea resort Svetlogorsk (35 km from Kaliningrad), the Mini-hotel "Dom Skazochnika" ("Hoffmann House", "Ferry teller House"), build in 2000, is housed in a beautiful building surrounded by pine forest. The hotels interior is devoted to Ernest Teodor Amadey Hoffmann, the great writer-storyteller from Kenigsberg.
